Stones washed ashore and constantly battered with water, wind, and sand create the perfect place for Dale to cool off her paws after playing in the hot sand.
Today's tide is carrying a lot of volcanic-black sand to shore with each wave as it laps the shore.
Have seen other dogs play in the ocean water on TV and in the movies. Dale is completely afraid of the waves. Can't say I blame her. I fear deep water myself.
Although a hot summer day, I think Dale thoroughly enjoyed herself.
